Honey Cake
Ingredients:

Curd – ½ Cup

Oil - ¼ Cup

All-purpose flour – 1 ¼ cup
-
Powdered sugar – ¾ Cup
-
Baking powder – 1 Tsp
-
Baking Soda – ½ Tsp
-
Milk -1/4 Cup
-
Sugar – 2 Tbsp
-
Water – ¼ Cup
-
Honey – ¼ Cup + 1 Tsp
-
Strawberry Jam – ¼ Cup

Desiccated Coconut for garnishing
Method:

Preheat the oven for 180 degree celcius.

In a large mixing bowl, add oil and curd and mix well.

Sieve the flour, powdered sugar, baking soda and baking powder and add this to
the curd oil mixture.

Combine well all the ingredients. • Further add the milk and mix well.

Pour in to the butter greased mould.

Bake for 15 to 20 min.

Let it cool for some time.

In a separate pan, heat 2 tbsp sugar, water and mix well.

Once the sugar is completely dissolved, add ¼ cup honey and mix will.

Now prick the whole cake evenly from the top with fork and spread the prepared
honey syrup so that it gets absorbed by the cake through the pores.

In other pan, heat strawberry jam and 1 tsp honey. Mix well. (don’t over heat)

Spread this mixture over the cake.
- Garnish the cake with desiccated coconut.
