Chicken Curd Curry



Ingredients:
  • Chicken – 1 Kg
  • Onion – 1 Medium Size
  • Tomato – 2 medium size
  • Coriander Powder – 3 Tsp
  • Turmeric Powder – ½ Tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder – 1 Tsp
  • Red Chili Powder – 1 Tsp
  • Cashew Nuts – 7 to 8
  • Oil / Ghee – 2 Tbsp
  • Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves – 2 Tbsp
  • Curd – 2 cup
  • Green Chili – 5
  • Garlic – 10 12 clove
  • Ginger – 1” Piece
  • Salt as per taste

Method:
  • Firstly, wash and clean the chicken.
  • In a blender add 1 tomato, green chili, garlic & ginger,
  • Grind it into a fine paste.
  • In a separate bowl, add curd and salt.
  • To this mixture add the masala paste and mix well.
  • Now add the chicken to this and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  • Soak cashew nuts in warm water for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Now grind it into a fine paste.
  • Heat oil/ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add chopped onions fry till golden brown.
  • Now add chopped tomato, coriander powder, pepper powder, chili powder, and turmeric powder and fry for a minute.
  • Then add cashew paste and fry for a minute.
  • Now add marinated chicken to this and mix well
  • cook for 10 minutes on medium flame or till chicken is cooked properly.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
