Aloo Paratha



Ingredients: 

For the Dough:
  • Wheat Flour - 2 Cup
  • Oil - 2 Tbsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Water - 1 Cup
For the Stuffing:
  • Boiled and mashed potato - 2 medium size
  • Finely chopped green chili - 1 to 2
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder - 1/4 Tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
  • Dry Mango Powder - 1/4 Tsp
  • Ajwain - 1/4 Tsp
  • Chopped Ginger - 1 Tsp
  • Chopped Coriander Leaves -2 Tbsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - for greasing parathas
  • Wheat flour - for dusting

Method:
  • Knead the dough using flour, salt, oil and water.
  • In a large mixing bowl take boiled and mashed potato and all other ingredients except last 2  ingredients
  • Mix well making sure all the spices are combined well.
  • Tale a ball sized wheat dough and dust with some wheat flour.
  • Roll it in a circle of about 4 to 5 inches in diameter.
  • Place the stuffing in the center and again make a ball, then roll the paratha, slightly thick.
  • Fry the paratha to golden brown adding oil/ghee.
  • Serve the hot aloo paratha with butter, raita or pickle.
