Methi Paratha


Ingredients: 
  • Wheat Flour - 2 Cup
  • Finely chopped Methi leaves – 1 cup
  • Oil - 2 Tbsp
  • Curd – ¼ cup
  • Finely chopped green chili - 1 to 2
  • Cumin Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder - 1/4 Tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
  • Ajwain - 1/4 Tsp
  • Chopped Ginger - 1 Tsp
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - for greasing parathas
  • Wheat flour - for dusting
Method:
  • In large mixing bowl take wheat flour and finely chopped methi leaves.
  • To this add curd, all spices, 2 Tbsp oil and salt to taste and mix well.
  • Add some water and knead the dough.
  • Cover with moist cloth and rest for 30 minutes.
  • Take a medium sized ball dough, roll and flatten it. Use wheat flour for dusting if required.
  • Roll it into a thick circle like paratha.
  • On a hot tawa place the rolled paratha and cook for a minute.
  • Flip the methi paratha and cook for a minute on other side.
  • Grease with oil or ghee.
  • Serve the hot methi paratha with raita and pickle.
