Methi Paratha
Ingredients:
- Wheat Flour - 2 Cup
- Finely chopped Methi leaves – 1 cup
- Oil - 2 Tbsp
- Curd – ¼ cup
- Finely chopped green chili - 1 to 2
- Cumin Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Red chili powder - 1/4 Tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
- Ajwain - 1/4 Tsp
- Chopped Ginger - 1 Tsp
- Salt - as per taste
- Oil - for greasing parathas
- Wheat flour - for dusting
Method:
- In large mixing bowl take wheat flour and finely chopped methi leaves.
- To this add curd, all spices, 2 Tbsp oil and salt to taste and mix well.
- Add some water and knead the dough.
- Cover with moist cloth and rest for 30 minutes.
- Take a medium sized ball dough, roll and flatten it. Use wheat flour for dusting if required.
- Roll it into a thick circle like paratha.
- On a hot tawa place the rolled paratha and cook for a minute.
- Flip the methi paratha and cook for a minute on other side.
- Grease with oil or ghee.
- Serve the hot methi paratha with raita and pickle.
